Hi Everybody, sice we have been receiving the same question too often, I decide to write this brief tutorial on how to add custom emoticons to your MSN Messenger.

Let's start, on this tutorial i'm going to take an Emoso of Raptware from here http://www.raptware.com/page-new-emosos-2-0.html. Follow the next steps:


Right click the Emoso you want to add, a context menu will appear, choose save image as... (option name varies from browser to browser).

A save window will appear, you already know these, save your emotion wherever you want.

Now on a conversation window click on Your emoticons and click Show all... link.

A window will open, in there press the Create... button

Another window will appear, press on the Find image... button.

A Select a custom emoticon window appears, just look for your emoticon you did download on step 1, select it and click Open.

You will return to the previous window, and the emoticon file location and all other data will be filled automatically, at least change the field 2 for a shortcut that you preffer, I used ::MAD so that I don't type it by mistake when chatting. Then Click Ok

It is done! now you can used, with the shortcut you did type
